Not only was the 2020 Open Enrollment Microsite fun to build and an all around huge success, but we also won an award! It feels great to deliver a project on time and on budget, and it feels even better to share an award with your client. Thank you to the New England Society of Healthcare Communications for awarding APPOXIO and Mass General Brigham (formally Partners HealthCare) a gold in the annual Lamplighter Awards. The competition is open to companies working with New England healthcare institutions, health plans and agencies on marketing and PR content. This was an amazing achievement for our team, and we couldn’t be happier with the end result.

The goal with the Open Enrollment Microsite is to simplify the annual benefits selection process. To make the portal as user friendly as possible, we completed the following tasks:

  • A new self-guided experience that has resulted in our client seeing a 17% decrease in employees requesting assistance from the service desk.
  • Implemented a count down widget to the start of open enrollment so employees know when they have access.
  • Developed a custom solution called Impersonate Lite which allows support agents to help employees (see what they see) without seeing their private records.
